Al Vino Al Vino

Al vino al vinoGiacomo Venuti’s Al Vino al Vino is a popular wine bar on the main street in the heart of Monti. Locals pack out this watering hole every night and the service becomes friendlier the more you frequent the place. First timers may be rudely ignored. If you can handle it, stick around for the wines by the glass, which are written on the chalkboard above the bar. You can also order bottles off the extensive and strongly domestic list.

While Al Vino Al Vino is open only in the evening, Giacomo is willing to open his doors in the daytime for private groups. The front space near the bar is pretty tight and packed at night, so head to the back where there is more space at ceramic tables painted with grapevines.
